One Thousand Gifts (part 10)

Between Spring, Easter and field trips there are almost too many blessing to count! His grace is evident everywhere! And so I continue to make my list of His bountiful gifts, inspired by Ann Voskamp's One Thousand Gifts. Here is my continuing journey:

124. Songbirds in early morning and listening with my son

125. forsythia in bloom

126-128. pizza, heart-to-heart conversation and playdate of wildly entertained cackling kids

129. beautiful sunflower earrings I won thanks to Beauty by Jinxy (and Five Minutes for Mom)!

130. wonderful new books to read

131. Spring cleaning-lightening the load

132-140. Touch-a-Truck: cacophonous beeping, hot salty popcorn, sweet sticky snow cones, cement mixing trucks, bucket trucks way up high, raffle prize won, dancing donut man, servicemen who volunteered their morning to entertain little kids

141. happy exhaustion-the tiredness that comes from living fully

142. Afternoon rest that revives

143. Holy Thursday: Lord's Supper, washing of the feet, sacrifice, forgiveness, mercy and His love

144. Good Friday: Sacrifice on the Cross, suffering and death to free us from sin

145. Easter Sunday: Resurrection on the third day, His Power, His love, grace and mercy

146. Easter Lillies-fragrant and beautiful evoking happy memories

147-154. Easter celebrating: baskets filled with treats, Resurrection Roll breakfast, delicious food, egg hunts, loving family, tired kids, joy of celebrating eternal life

155. Thick heady scent of hyacinth

156. shorts, t-shirt and flip flops on 80 degree day

157. friendly neighbor who shares sidewalk chalk and gives flowers for no occasion

158-163. trip to Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory: tropical plants, breath-taking butterflies, butterfly landing on my finger, awe of His Creation, joy of delighting in nature with my kids

164-171. Trip to Yankee Candle: nativity displays, Christmas villages all aglow, nutcrackers, pirate ship, glow-in-the-dark toys, room that snows, waterfall and Christmas Ornaments

172. niece and nephew turning one and party to celebrate it
